What calculator do I need?
TI-Nspire CX or CX II, the CAS model you use for VCE Methods. The UDFs work on both.
Do I need the TI student software?
No. There's a manual install walkthrough that takes under 10 minutes. You type each UDF once, save to your mylib folder, refresh libraries, and you're set for the year.
How long does the course take?
About 45 minutes end to end, plus 10 minutes of install time. Most students watch the UDF sections as they hit each Methods unit rather than all at once.
Are UDFs allowed in the VCE Methods exam?
Yes. VCAA allows programmable functions on the CAS. Your calculator, your UDFs, your exam marks.
